Some dinners nourish more than your appetite.
Each year, our Empty Bowl Dinner brings our community together to share a meal, enjoy an exciting silent auction, and help local families move from homelessness to home.
This year’s theme, Serving Hope One Bowl at a Time, reminds us that every bowl shared, every ticket purchased, and every bid placed helps provide shelter, stability, and hope for families right here in Greene County. Join us this fall for one of Family Promise of Greene County’s most meaningful traditions. Together, we can serve hope, one bowl at a time, and help ensure every child has the safety and security of a home.
At Family Promise, we are passionate about working together to create a stronger community. One that embraces people for who they are, for what they’ve overcome and for who they want to be.
It’s our goal to move a homeless family to permanent housing as quickly as possible. It’s always a big deal when a family receives the keys to their home because it symbolizes a fresh start, new beginnings, and a family ready to soar. We want a family that finds themselves without a home to live in a place they are proud to call home, where they can set roots and thrive. Together, we are ending homelessness one family at a time.
